From this edition of the ILO's newsletter: "Domestic workers have a right to rest.Yet, often, they do not enjoy this basic human right. Physical and mental fatigue, resulting from long working hours and little rest, have a negative impact on health. On World Day of Safety and Health at work, we want to highlight the need to ensure minimum daily and weekly rest for domestic workers."
