The Harvard University South Asia Institute (SAI) organized the panel "Women’s Economic and Social Rights in India: Exploring New Collaborations and Engagements", which took place in New Delhi, India, on December 22nd, 2016.

WIEGO’s international coordinator Marty Chen was one of the panelists, together with professor Jacqueline Bhabha, also from Harvard University. They discussed topics such as social innovation, gender justice and strategies for home-based workers empowerment.

The panel was the final event of the collaborative project with the Tata Trusts on ‘Educational, Social and Economic Empowerment of Women in India’.
