Social Policy and Employment: Rebuilding the Connections

This brief points to the inappropriate decoupling of social policy from employment objectives and outlines their intrinsic links. It argues that employment and social policies must be reconnected in policy design in order to frame solutions to the economic crisis that are grounded in long-term, sustainable, employment-centred growth.
