From the paper's introduction: "Two years ago, in early 2011, the United Nations Committee on the Elimination of Discrimination against Women (CEDAW) convened to consider Israel's report on its compliance with the Convention on the Elimination of All Forms of Discrimination against Women.... The purpose of this report is to examine if and to what extent these recommendations have taken effect in the two years since the report, and how, if at all, the situation of migrant women improved for the better as a result.
