The Unión de Trabajadores y Trabajadoras de la Economía Popular (UTEP) is an Argentine union representing workers in the popular economy who create their own livelihoods in activities such as street commerce, recycling, family farming, manufacturing, construction, community services and transport. UTEP organizes workers across these sectors and advocates for recognition, labour rights, better working conditions and public policies that support their work, production and access to land, housing and decent livelihoods.
