Working in the Heat: Home‑Based Workers and Climate Justice in Delhi

WIEGO Policy Brief No. 35 presents findings from action research conducted with SEWA Delhi to understand the impacts of heat on the livelihoods of home‑based workers in Delhi. Surveys were completed with over 300 women across seven home‑based work clusters before and immediately after the peak of the 2025 summer heat. Findings were supplemented by infrastructure mapping, key informant interviews and policy analysis.
