Citation: Alfers, Laura and Chidchanok Samantrakul. Integrating Occupational Health into Public Health Provision: The Case of HomeNet Thailand. WIEGO Policy Brief No. 18. WIEGO.
HomeNet Thailand (HNT) has long advocated for the integration of Occupational Safety & Health (OSH) into the Thai Universal Coverage Scheme to allow access to these services for the almost two-thirds of workers who are informal.
Following on Policy Brief No. 9, this brief focuses on innovative initiatives from HNT to push this agenda forward, while also critically examining the inherent challenges faced by this model of extending OSH to informal workers.
This brief is part of the WIEGO Publication Series.
