Co-operatives and Workers in the Informal Economy: Possibilities and Challenges" is an initial study of co-operatives and their relationships to informal workers. It examines case studies from Brazil and India and provides an overview of the relationships between co-operatives and informal workers’ sectors and services, including waste pickers, domestic workers, street and market vendors, home-based workers, agricultural and fisheries workers, and transport workers.
