WIEGO Dashboard

The WIEGO Network seeks to improve the status of the working poor, especially women, in the informal economy around the world: through better data and research, stronger organizations and networks and a more favorable policy environment. Our Dashboard is designed to share with you what we know and do about the informal workforce in different countries and regions around the world.

To enter and explore the WIEGO Dashboard, you can select individual countries on the map or click on the WIEGO Presence, Statistics, or Publications and Resources tabs. WIEGO Presence will tell you where we have members, partners and activities. Statistics presents key indicators, based on official national data, of the size and composition of informal employment. Publications & Resources shares the knowledge we have generated on informal employment.
