Poonsap Tulaphan of HomeNet Thailand discusses how home-based workers and citizens engaged with city government to secure public transport which better served their communities.

 


Gloria Solorzano, a street vendor from Peru, presented on the participatory process between street vendors and the government of Lima to reach a new ordinance regulating street vending in the public space. Her presentation was part of a side event at PrepCom3, Achieving inclusive cities with partnerships between grassroots organizations and municipal governments.
